Was there that much celebrating to do for the Atlanta Falcons after they beat the Denver Broncos 27-21 on Monday Night Football? After just two wins in two weeks, Falcons running back Michael Turner acted like his team just won the Super Bowl.
He put his party hat on and left the cab number at home along with his common sense. Turner was arrested and jailed for driving under the influence early Tuesday morning. He posted a bond of $2,179 after sitting in the drunk tank since 5:00 am.
Not too sure what Turner was celebrating for. The Broncos held him to 42 yards on 17 carries (2.5 yards per carry), and one touchdown.
The Broncos now have the 7th best rushing defense in the league. Arian Foster will be a good test for the defense this week. He’s averaging 94.5 yards per game so far.
