After watching the film, the Denver Broncos got to see what we saw on Saturday night. They saw a team that looked completely different than the one that played in Chicago the week before.
“I thought our first group played pretty well, played with a little spark, played with a little energy,” head coach John Fox said following Monday’s practice. “All and all, I thought it was a pretty good effort on their part. We’ve got a lot of work to do with some of the backup that went in.”
The big thing that stood out in the Broncos’ 30-10 loss to the Seahawks was the 228 yards given up on the ground and 405 yards given up total.
“It was terrible,” linebacker Joe Mays said. “We know how we can come out and play this game. We know that we can come out and play with the best of them. We definitely didn’t show that this past weekend.”
Along with safety Mike Adams and linebacker Steven Johnson, Mays led the team in tackles with 4 made.
The Broncos kicked off week three of preseason play Monday with their first practice of the week. The team had Sunday off.
