The Denver Broncos have their first day off from camp Tuesday, so today’s practice was one where players were told to work extra hard.
As per Kaptain Kirk of Mile High Report, the Broncos defense made some noticeable plays.
Rahim Moore had the big hit of the day, laying out Lance Ball as the running back was attempting to catch a sideline lob into double coverage.
Jason Hunter and Joe Mays both had a tough sack each on Caleb Hanie, who was scolded for holding on to the ball too long at times. – Kaptain Kirk (Mile High Report)
John Fox said this about the defense after Monday’s session:
“We had a pretty good days work as far as starting right off with dog and blitz early, especially third down, they threw some new looks at the offense. We’re just growing our packages both offensively and defensively. You’re going to have that give and take as you’re going through camp. Hopefully it’s competitive that way.”
An offense that wins one battle while a defense wins the next is the best sign that could come from camp.
