Broncos Make Every Rep Count In Weight Room

Over the past two seasons, there have been so many changes to the Denver Broncos from front office to coaching staff to players to even the Dove Valley weight room. The new look Broncos have made all of these changes to attain a new look record and a team that will advance deep into the playoffs.

One of the major changes made in the off season was to the team’s strength and conditioning coach. Luke Richesson takes Rich Tuten’s place in that capacity, and rather than focusing on building brute strength, Richesson is more concerned with functional movement and injury prevention. Don’t get him wrong, however.

“I want especially our guys in the trenches to be relentless and I want to maul people. I want our guys up front to be physically dominating people, and I want to own the line of scrimmage.” – Luke Richesson (

The Broncos put out a video detailing Richesson’s plan for the way he works players out. Give it a watch.
