It was already official, but Peyton Manning made Denver even more official when he purchased a home in Cherry Hills Village on Tuesday. Originally listed at $5.25 million, Manning scored a deal getting the seven bathroom house for $4.575 million.
The 20-minute commute to work (give or take) should be worth it. The Manning family which includes Peyton’s wife, Ashley, and their 1-year-old twin girls will have 16,000 square feet to play in on 3.37 acres. The new purchase houses a billiard room, a media room, a “safe room”, and an elevator.
Prior to the purchase, Manning resided in former Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan’s Cherry Hills Village home.
Manning is slated to make $18 million this season. He signed a five year deal worth $96 million on March 21 which includes $58 million in guaranteed money. The rest of the money hinges on Manning’s ability to pass a physical next March.
