A big happy birthday goes out to Champ Bailey who turns 34 years old today.
Bailey has played for the Broncos for the past eight seasons after being traded from Washington. Bailey has spent most of his NFL career in Denver, and has never felt as good about the Broncos chances of winning a ring.
Because of Bailey’s age, many speculate that he will make the transition to safety as his career winds down. However, there are no signs the cornerback making the switch anytime soon because he is as fresh as ever.
We are blessed to have Bailey in Denver, and thankful that he wanted to continue on with the Broncos when he could have easily walked away last offseason to go to an immediate contender.
The future hall of fame corner has 851 career tackles, 50 interceptions (4 returned for a touchdown), and 7 forced fumbles.
