Elvis Dumervil is Chris Kuper’s Biggest Cheerleader

Elvis Dumervil knows what it’s like to take a year off from football. He had to do so in 2010 because of a torn pectoral muscle. Now he will be the one coaching Denver Broncos guard Chris Kuper as he recovers from a season-ending ankle injury which he suffered during the team’s last regular season game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kuper had two surgeries this offseason to repair the ankle, but he should be ready to go by training camp at the end of July.

"“He’s been busting his butt working hard to get back,” Dumervil said. “That’s the kind of guy he is. He came in with a chip on his shoulder from when I’ve known him as a rookie. He has that fire in him and that is the kind of guy I will always go to war with.” – Elvis Dumervil on Chris Kuper (Denver Broncos)"

Gray Caldwell of DenverBroncos.com wrote a nice piece on the admiration Dumervil has for Kuper. You can read it here.
