Denver Broncos’ Free Agency Grades

The free agency period has been a busy one for the Denver Broncos. Of course, their big acquisition was Peyton Manning, but many other moves have been made in the month of March with the hopes of building a championship team.

Let’s take a look at some of the big moves that the Broncos have made in free agency so far and then grade them.

3/5 – The franchise tag is placed on Matt Prater.

3/12 – T Chris Clark, RB Lance Ball, and P Britton Colquitt re-sign.

3/15 – S Mike Adams signs a two year contract.

3/18 – LB Joe Mays re-signs.

3/20 – QB Peyton Manning signs a five year contract worth $96 million.

3/22 – CB Tracy Porter signs a one year deal. WR Andre Caldwell signs a two year deal.

3/22 – LB Wesley Woodyard and G Manny Ramirez re-sign.

3/23 – TE Joel Dreessen signs, and TE Jacob Tamme signs a three year deal.

3/24 – QB Caleb Hanie signs a two year deal to backup Manning.

The Broncos currently have about $15 million in cap space left.  Now let’s grade them.
