Manning Throws To Broncos' Decker, Thomas

As Tim Tebow stood behind the New York Jets’ podium on Monday morning, Peyton Manning behind his brand new center, J.D. Walton.

Manning took snaps from Walton and threw passes to Eric Decker and Julius Thomas during a workout at Valor Christian High School.

“Just some drill work, talking through stuff, so he gets familiar with the verbage and the calls,” Decker said. “The biggest thing is he wanted to get a feel for us, and a feel for being under center.” – Eric Decker to the Denver Post

Manning is allowed to workout with his teammates as long as it is away from the Broncos’ training facilities, and the coaching staff is not around.

It’s about time more of Manning’s new teammates get back to town. Why wait until April 16 to start working with their new quarterback?
