That trade that sent Tim Tebow to the New York Jets could be nullified faster than you can say ‘Amen.’
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the trade could be voided due to a snag in the language of Tebow’s contract. It appears that the Jets would have to pay $5 million to the Broncos, and that’s something that they’re not willing to do.
That doesn’t mean, however, that Tebow will stay in Denver. The St. Louis Rams have an intense interest in the quarterback, and would likely sign him if they offer up a similar deal to the Broncos.
