Manning Agrees to $96 Million Over 5 Years, Tebow Wants Back In Florida

The writing was on the wall, and now it’s also in the ink.

Peyton Manning’s contract with the Denver Broncos is official. According to Adam Schefter, Manning has agreed to a 5-year deal worth $96 million.

In the land of Tim Tebow, all of this doesn’t surprise him according to a longtime friend.

“Brad and I just had dinner with Tim last week and I don’t think this comes as a shock or surprise to him that Manning was actually going to go there,” she said. “And in all honesty, Tim said, ‘I miss home. I miss the South. And hopefully I’ll land somewhere in Florida.’ – Monica Culpepper, wide of Brad Culpepper who played at Florida and in the NFL.

If Tebow does go home to Florida, there’s no doubt that whichever franchise signs him will be making a key business decision, and blacked-out games will be a thing of the past.

As for Manning, he’s flying into Denver this morning, and he will be introduced as a Denver Bronco at 1:00 p.m. MST.
