The Denver Broncos have finally signed their first free agent. Eight year veteran safety Mike Adams will join the Broncos after five seasons with the Cleveland Browns.

Adams had 64 tackles and 3 interceptions last season. His best season came in 2005 with the San Francisco 49ers when he had 77 tackles and 4 interceptions.

The Broncos desperately needed to sign an experienced safety considering Brian Dawkins’ status is unknown and the team has two second year safeties in Quinton Carter and Rahim Moore.

Adams is 5’11,” 200 pounds and comes undrafted out of Delaware.
