Broncos Reportedly Interested In John Abraham

Not only are the Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans competing for arguably the NFL’s best quarterback in Peyton Manning, but they could be competing for one of the league’s best pass rushers as well.

Mario Williams signed a lucrative deal with the Buffalo Bills Wednesday, so that leaves John Abraham as the next best free agent pass rusher.

According to Jason La Canfora,

"TEN and DEN have interest in pass rusher John Abraham. Manning decision and M Williams delay has caused a lag for him."

Abraham has not visited with an NFL team during the signing period yet.

Abraham is entering his 13th season in the league (spending 6 years with the Jets and 6 years with the Falcons), yet he is still a very effective pass rusher. He had 9.5 sacks last season and 13 the year before.

Imagine teams having to contend with Elvis Dumervil, Von Miller, and Abraham. That would certainly take some pressure off the Broncos in their search for secondary players.
