Broncos Reallly Want Manning, 3 Players Suspended

News out of Dove Valley Friday has been unreal with the league’s biggest free agent visiting and helicopters descending on south Denver to catch a glimpse of Peyton Manning meeting with John Elway, John Fox, and Brian Xanders.

National and local media are in their stakeout zones covering the action. Fans came out to cheer and wave at Manning as he pulled into the facility. Eric Decker even made his way to Dove Valley to greet his potentially new quarterback.

The Broncos appear willing to open their wallets as they have enough cap space to do so.

"The Denver Post reports that owner Pat Bowlen is “prepared to do whatever it takes” to make Manning the team’s next franchise quarterback. – Pro Football Talk"

News continues to spew forth. The Broncos announced today that three players will be suspended for at least four game for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. D.J. Williams and Ryan McBean will be suspended for six games while tight end Virgil Green will be suspended for four games.

That pretty much writes the Broncos first round draft ticket right there. They will more than likely go with a defensive tackle at No. 25 spot.

That’s not a good look for the day when Manning pays a visit.

Keep it tuned in here for the latest and greatest as the day unfolds. Who says that Friday is an easy day?
