Bronco Gameday – Kansas City Chiefs

facebooktwitterreddit

The 2011 regular season comes to an end today when the 6-9 Kansas City Chiefs visit the 8-7 Broncos.  For the Denver Broncos, this is in essence a playoff game – win and your season continues; lose and you need help from the San Diego Chargers in order to be in the playoffs.  In addition to making the playoffs and winning the organizations 11th AFC West title, a win today will prove the Broncos can rise up and win the games they have to in order to advance.  Recently, that has been a task the Broncos could not accomplish.  Today’s game marks the 103rd time these two teams have met.  The Broncos home record in this series is 32-19.  Although the Broncos have a winning home record against the Chiefs, two years ago the Chiefs visited with similar circumstances at stake for the Broncos and the Chiefs easily handled the Broncos 44-24.  Hopefully today the results will be different.

For those individuals beginning their new year at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, I’ve listed the gameday events and times below.
