Fans of the Denver Broncos were hoping for an early Christmas present when the Broncos squared off against the struggling Buffalo Bills on Saturday, but they instead received a feeling more comparable to waking up with a New Year’s Day hangover. Christmas didn’t come early for the Denver Broncos as they lost to Buffalo Bills 40-14. Denver was playing not to lose while Buffalo was playing to not move to Canada. The Oakland Raiders beat the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime to move into a tie for first place in the AFC West. A lot of possibilities still exist in terms of the AFC playoff race, but the main point to take away is if the Broncos beat the Chiefs next week, then they will go to the playoffs. Bronco fans may get an early present wrapped in orange and blue later today in the form of an AFC West Championship if the Broncos can beat the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs handle the Oakland Raiders.  Both games are set to kickoff at 11 am (Mountain Time) today.  At the end of the day if the Broncos have claimed the divisional championship, that means next week’s season finale against Kansas City will be nothing more than a game to fine tune things.  A win against the Chiefs could possibly improve the Broncos seeding in the AFC playoffs, [...]

About a foot of snow fell in the Denver metro area forcing the Denver Broncos to move their practice indoors on Thursday. From Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski to Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, and Vincent Jackson, the Broncos’ secondary has been thoroughly challenged. This week is no different.
