Congratulations to Champ Bailey, Elvis Dumervil, and Von Miller for being named to this year’s Pro Bowl squad. The three will make the trip to Hawaii to play in the all-star game one week before the Super Bowl. Tim Tebow and Britton Colquitt were selected as alternates.
Bailey will be playing in the Pro Bowl for the 11th time in his career. He has 36 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble this year. More than anything, however, even elite quarterbacks won’t throw in Bailey’s direction. Dumervil will be playing in his second Pro Bowl and he has 34 tackles and 16 seasons through 13 games. Miller will be participating in his first Pro Bowl. He is ranked 9th in the league in sacks with 12.0 on the year. He also has 64 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.
Of course this is all assuming that the Broncos aren’t playing in the Super Bowl in February.
The New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers had the most selections. For a complete list of players who made the Pro Bowl, go here.
