There’s popular and then there’s superstar power. Tim Tebow is fourth in fan Pro Bowl voting among AFC quarterbacks. Whether you like it or not, he’s got the NFL and its followers on high alert with every move that he makes. A steak at Elway’s? People know about it. Walking his dog (named Bronco) at the park? It’s on Twitter. Hitting the talk show circuit? It’s on national news.

In a surprising turn of events, the NFL bumped Cam Newton off the cover of NFL Magazine’s debut issue which is set to hit stands December 13th. Instead Tebow will be the publication’s cover athlete and his success will be highlighted in the premiere issue.

The league’s magazine will give fans insight into players and teams and feature on and off the field coverage. NFL experts and sports journalists will offer an inside-the-huddle perspective, analysis, and insights from NFL Network and NFL.com.

This new magazine is set to publish 12 issues per year.
