Rob Ryan Not A Fan Of Broncos Offense

Despite the unconventional ways of the Broncos offense, they found a way to beat the New York Jets. Rex Ryan was impressed with their effort.

“It’s tough to stop 11-on-11 football like that,” Ryan said. “We gave up a big play at the end of the game. Obviously a critical error, but the young man made the play. Tebow made the play so we have to give them credit.”

The Broncos had 229 total yards on offense, but Rex’s brother and Cowboys defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan, doesn’t think that the Broncos college style offense will work in the long term.

“I don’t like it because it’s college football,” Ryan said Friday at Valley Ranch, entertaining reporters during his weekly media session. “We’re getting a lot of two tight ends blocking for empty sets. Who would have ever thought that? This is the NFL. Those teams don’t win.” – Star Telegram

The team won last night and they’re 4-1 since Tebow started running the offense, so maybe Rob Ryan should worry about his own team right now.

Sad thing is… Tebow is better than Dilfer!… And Dilfer has a SB Ring! Tebow can make a horrible offense descent and unpredictable with options on top of options. Call an option before a snap, then make an option durring a play with a QB run, pitch, or pass! When he throws, it’s either deep, or short pitch, then you have to worry if he scrambles. There’s no-one like that in the NFL!! I’m not a Tebow fan, but the kid has heart. I’m pulling for him (all except when he plays my Raiders) because his critics are all about numbers so a game can be exciting. Remember the days when all that mattered were tangibles and wins; that’s Tebow! Now they play to his strengths and there’s no answer!! I think Rex has a lot of respect for Tebow, and Rob dosen’t know what he’s up against, because he’s gotta call his dad Buddy, and ask “how do you contain an aggressive QB in the 50′s and 60′s”? He may be the only one alive who might have an answer. But you still have to go out there and do it!
