I’m not trying to stir the pot in Broncos Country, but a fact is a fact. The fact is John Elway was spotted at Stanford’s practice on Wednesday.
Elway and Brian Xanders are out of town this week on a “scouting” trip. Elway played at Stanford and in year’s past, he’s been seen strolling the Cardinals’ sidelines. However, this trip makes news because QB Andrew Luck is projected to be the No. 1 draft pick this year, and the Broncos’ QB situation is a magic eight ball right now.
The Broncos make the trip to Cali later this week to take on the Oakland Raiders.
Perhaps Elway is just getting a jump on the trip, and in turn getting a jump on next season.
