John Fox Thinks NFL Lockout Contributes To Rise In Injuries

Injuries are up across the NFL board. There’s no denying that. Ask the Chiefs who lost Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, and Tony Moeaki all before week 3.

The Broncos can look for evidence in the other 14 games held yesterday, but there’s enough evidence on their own thinned out roster. With that said, many are wondering just how the lockout has effected players injury wise.

“I think that off season conditioning is important. I’m not saying it has to be to the length that its been in the past. It’s hard for me to say too on this team just because it’s my first year with this team – knowing the players, knowing what kind of conditioning level they’re in. I do think there’s something to do with the off season.” – John Fox

The teams most likely to make it into post season play will have most of their starters still playing. That could be a lot to ask this year considering OTA’s were cut out due to the lockout.
