Second year wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has been a super star healer, but he’s not quite game ready. After suffering a torn Achilles in February, Thomas was already back working with the scout team this week at practice. However, he still needs more time.
“Thomas will not play Monday against the Raiders and is likely still several weeks from being ready to return for a game.” – Jeff Legwold (Denver Post)
Even though he’s not ready for live action, the Broncos are well set at the receiver position with Brandon Lloyd and Eddie Royal starting, and Daniel Fells at tight end. Their backups are Eric Decker and Julius Thomas.
