Much like how Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has slipped down the team’s depth chart, so has his jersey sales fell down the list of the most purchased by NFL fans.
The Denver Post reported today that, according to the NFL, Tebow’s jersey was the eighth-most popular jersey in terms of sales at the NFL.com store from April 1 to July 31, with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and linebacker Clay Matthews taking the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively, during that time. From April through Monday, Tebow’s jersey sales had dropped even lower to a ranking of 10th. The Broncos #15 jersey was the NFL’s best seller last year during Tebow’s rookie season.
