Broncos Add Two Tight Ends

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with former Carolina Panthers tight end Dante Rosario and former St. Louis Rams tight end Daniel Fells, as reported by ESPN‘s John Clayton via Twitter.

“The Broncos reached agreement with two TEs _ Daniel Fells of the Rams and Dante Rosario of Car. Fells is expected to be the starter.”

Rosario was drafted by the Panthers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.  In his four seasons with Carolina, Rosario made 82 receptions for 894 yards and five touchdowns.  Rosario reunites with head coach John Fox in Denver.

Fells was an undrafted free agent in 2006 and was signed by the Atlanta Falcons.  He is also a former member of the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before finally finding playing time in St. Louis.  In his three years with the Rams, Fells made 69 receptions for 745 yards and five touchdowns.
