The Denver Broncos plan on signing former Ravens running back Willis McGahee to a reported three-year deal worth $7.5 million with $3 million guaranteed.
Bringing in the veteran will give Knowshon Moreno a break in third-down situations.
McGahee played under current Broncos running backs coach Eric Studesville for three years in Buffalo. During that time, McGahee averaged 73.0 yards per game and had 24 career touchdowns. Since then, he has played in Baltimore sharing carries with the dangerous Ray Rice. Last season, McGahee averaged 25.3 yards per game, had 5 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving touchdown.
Many of you hoped that the Broncos would go after DeAngelo Williams, but he re-signed with the Panthers Wednesday.
