NFL Lockout Still Not History

The balloons need to stay in the closet, the bottle popping and cake eating need to stop, and the party hats need to be put away. The NFL lockout isn’t over quite yet.

Late yesterday, the owners approved a deal that would end the lockout. The players aren’t quite ready to put this crap behind them.

“NFL players! Stay strong! We are still fighting for past, present and future players. We will vote when they give us something to vote on!” – Steelers Ryan Clark (Yahoo)

Everybody hopes that a full 16 game season will be played, but the players believe they are getting the short end of the stick. As it is, the NFL just cancelled the Hall of Fame game between the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Rams which would have been played on Aug. 7.
