Weeks ago, the Denver Post featured Broncos’ safety David Bruton in an article about what he’s up to this offseason. Unlike many professional football players, Bruton is keeping busy away from an athletic field. While he’s still working out to stay in football shape, he spends the better part of his days in a classroom as a substitute teacher in his hometown of Miamisburg, OH.
Bruton applied for and received a one-year substitute teacher’s license from the Ohio Department of Education, clearing him to take short-term assignments in classrooms for students in kindergarten through high school. – Lindsay Jones (Denver Post)
His experience in the classroom has made national headlines, and earlier today, he was featured on CNN.
