Tebow On The Road But Still Building Team Camaraderie

The big time quarterbacks are all doing it, so why not consider an aspiring big-time QB getting in on the act?

In a time where NFL teams cannot formally organize team workouts, individual players have taken it upon themselves to organize player workouts.

Adam Schefter reports that Tim Tebow organized and paid for three of his receivers to fly out to Jacksonville, FL and workout with him. Brandon Lloyd, Jabar Gaffney, and Britt Davis were put up in a nearby hotel for a week to work out with the second-year QB. Eric Decker was unable to attend due to a prior commitment, and Demaryius Thomas and Eddie Royal are nursing injuries.

Tebow plans to hold another workout session with his receivers in Arizona for two weeks in the near future.

"The Broncos worked on their conditioning, their timing and many of the facets that other players have tried to focus on during a lockout that is entering its third month. – Adam Schefter (ESPN)"

As for Kyle Orton, he’s attended a few of Brian Dawkins’ led workouts in South Denver, but the Broncos starting QB has kept a low-profile this off season.

In a time when the team is searching for the face of the franchise and a team leader, Tebow has taken the lead in the race for not only starting QB, but as the guy who is most looking to improve the Broncos’ future.
