Out with the old and in with the new is a fitting theme to this season. To go along with coaching changes, roster changes, and scheme changes, the Denver Broncos will now be featured on KUSA-9, Denver’s NBC affiliate.
KCNC-4, or Denver’s CBS affiliate will still broadcast 12 of the team’s regular season games, but preseason games and a weekly show with John Elway will be shown on KUSA-9.
The team announced this change Thursday after signing a two-year contract with the local NBC affiliate. Team President Joe Ellis said,
“We are fortunate to have a partnership with KUSA-TV that enables us to reach out to them through all 9NEWS platforms with in-depth, exclusive programming, KUSA’s emphasis on community involvement also provides our organization with many outreach opportunities in the region,” Broncos President Joe Ellis said in a statement. “We look forward to working with KUSA and its award-winning staff to provide quality Broncos content that exceeds our fans’ expectations, delivering comprehensive coverage year round and bringing them closer than ever to this team.” – Denver Post
