Fox Trusts The Broncos Will Improve Quickly

John Fox made his first public address since January when he was first hired by the Broncos. The echo rang through the Pepsi Center in front of 1,200 business leaders Tuesday morning.

“My job is to win games. That, I will promise you will happen. I can’t put a number on it this first season, but I will promise you we’ll be in the championship at some level very soon.” – John Fox (ESPN)

Fox sees plenty of parallels between this Broncos team and the Carolina Panthers which he took to the Super Bowl two years after taking the reins of the 1-15 team. Bill Williamson explains the similarities in this ESPN article.

While Fox acknowledges that patience will be required in this epic Broncos turn around, most of us are thinking that it can only get better now that Captain Josh McDaniels jumped (ok, got pushed off) ship. After two years of devastating losses that strip the soul and frustrate to the core, it’s good to see our team in the hands of an experienced coach.

So let’s hear it. Predictions for this year. Let’s not get too specific yet by putting a number on it.

How will the Broncos fare in 2011?
