“Champ Bailey Rally” Planned For Sunday

Among the stagnate talks between the Denver Broncos and All-Pro cornerback Champ Bailey regarding a contract extension, fans of both sides are preparing to have their own voices heard.

If a new deal between the Broncos and Bailey is not reached by Sunday, fans are planning to hold a “Champ Bailey Rally” on the south side of Invesco Field at Mile High on Feb. 20. People who plan to attend are encouraged to wear Champ Bailey apparel and bring signs to show their support of efforts to keep Bailey a member of the Broncos franchise.  The event is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. MT.

The Denver Broncos and Champ Bailey met Wednesday to try to hash out a new deal, but those negotiations fell apart. It was then reported that Bailey had put his house in Littleton, Colorado up for sale.
