Breaking news and breaking Achilles tendons. Second year wide receiver and the Broncos first selection in the 2010 draft just suffered an Achilles tendon injury while training in Georgia.
It’s reported that Demaryius Thomas will be out 6-8 months.
Thomas was healthy enough to play in ten games last season after battling through a foot injury in training camp and during the season. He had 22 catches for 283 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also played a role on special teams.
Thomas is the second Broncos wide receiver suffering from an off season injury. Eddie Royal had hip surgery Monday and is expected to be out 5-6 months.
