Fisher is great...thing is, he is going to be looking to get a HC position. If he were to take a DC position, it would only be until he found a HC position that fit him. This would have meant more instability at the DC position for the Broncos. We have had 6 DC's in the last 6 years. The last thing we need is Fisher coming in here, coordinating for one year, and then splitting for a Head Coaching gig...then having to find another DC. Yes, fisher is awesome, but I am glad that we will have a young, talented coordinator that can learn under Fox and who will bring some consistency to the defensive side of the ball.

After todays announcement, cant help but feel a little sad the Titans / Fisher split didnt happen a month sooner. Ive always liked him and thought he'd do good things in Denver.

I could not be more pleased with the direction that this organization is going. Today the Denver Broncos put the finishing touches on their roster by naming Keith Burns assistant special teams coach and Sam Garnes assistant secondary coach. (I am still holding out hope that they bring in Jim Skipper from Carolina to be Ast. Head Coach).

I think that Vice President of Public Relations for the Denver Broncos, Jim Saccomano said it best on his twitter account. "Lots of familiar faces on coaching staff, plus John & John. Everything just "feels right" at Broncos. Real exciting vibe in building."
