I love all the sideways comments about Tim Tebow. There has been almost no articles about him whether for or against without a qualifying statement. Lets be honest. His stats compare favorably with any rookie in the last decade. You cant tell me that if we had started Tebow our record would have been any worse than it was by starting Orton (And this is not a slam on Orton who is in a rotten spot right now). Im sick of the lambasting him about his supposed inability to read a defense or take a snap from center. The much ado about nothing on his throwing style. His propensity to run. He doesnt run because he is afraid to throw but because he knows he is that good. His career accuracy at Florida was higher than most. And lets not forget he is no longer a rookie. It is time to set him loose.Lets face it people, he is the future of the franchise. If cutler had and may be if and Im wondering is aint gonna get it done. It is nonsensicle to keep "what might have been-ing". Its over. You can say and think what you want, it did not happen that way. Yes there needs to be work on the defense. And Tebow will benefit from a training camp with the first team, but saying he is a signifigant question mark is rediculous. Get off the Todd McShay bandwagon (hes been proven wrong over and over) and jump on the teams. The ride is better and trust me it is going to be rocking next year.

Totally with you on keeping Orton and let the competition begin. It wouldn't hurt Tebow to understudy for another year, BUT still have a package of plays for him in certain situations. Don't agree on Denver being in the playoffs if Cutler hadn't been traded. Defense, defense, defense, there is no substitute. Check out the defensive ratings for all four semi-finalists (all in the top 6 in the league). Denver made the right pick with Fox--build a lights out defense and you will see the wins accumulate. Tebow compares directly with Roethlisberger, and I'm not talking about character. Both are big, hard to bring down, can move out of the pocket and run when they have to, throw less than 30 times a game and win. They make plays. Envision Denver with a Steelers-like defense, with Tebow at qb in the 2012 season. Go Broncos!
