Getting To Know The Rams

The Vegas-like hangover is fading, and the next game is quickly upon us.

The Broncos host the Saint Louis Rams (4-6) in what I am deeming “The Game for Redemption.” Don’t get me wrong. A win on Sunday will not save the Broncos’ season, but it will ease the pain of a Monday night loss.

Despite what the Rams’ record indicates, they are a very good team. Sound familiar? Four of their seven losses have come by four points or less, and they beat the Chargers this season.

$78-million-man, Sam Bradford may just be worth his weight in contract. The future looks promising in St. Louis and in Missouri for that matter, in terms of NFL football.

While Bradford’s stats are nothing to write home about, he is a rookie that’s giving his team a chance to win games. With Steven Jackson in the backfield, that takes a lot of pressure off of Bradford.

The Rams are ranked 18th in rushing and 24th in passing. They are 9th in rush defense and 19th in pass defense.
