Orange … Predominantly

We can argue the merits of the Broncos uniform change just after the 1996 season from the traditional bright orange to the sharp navy with orange accents all you want, but it’s clear most Broncos fans prefer the former, myself included. I loved watching the Donkey on Sunday in the “new” uniforms that were, indeed, predominantly orange, and this, indeed, should be the standard and not the occasional exception.

A petition is gathering signatures to restore the Predominantly Orange home jerseys of the Broncos over at denverbroncos.com, and I think, given the general lost season we’re in the midst of right now, this is as good a use of time for us Broncos fans as anything else. Bring back the orange–sign the petition and send word to the Denver front office: We’re orange and we’re proud!
