Broncos Clip Of The Week
The Broncos have the top-ranked passing offense in the NFL and they face a team in Baltimore that has the top-ranked pass defense. Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh, spoke with the media this week about the week 5 matchup. He talks about Demaryius Thomas, former Raven Justin Bannan, and not being fooled by the Broncos running troubles. That makes this our clip of the week. Be sure to head over to NFL.com’s Blog Blitz to check out this week’s write-up on the importance of the running game. Make sure to follow Predominantly Orange on Facebook.
AFC West Breakdown: Week 4
The big news out of the AFC West is that the Chiefs are not only the lone undefeated team in the division, but in the league as well. The Bears and the Steelers lost in week 4, but the Chiefs didn’t play, so they remain 3-0. The Chargers and Broncos are trying to keep pace each getting a win last week, while the Raiders fell another game back. With a quarter of the 2010 NFL season in the books, it’s very likely that the race for first place in the AFC West could come down to the Broncos, Chargers, and Chiefs. Denver Broncos (2-2): Looking [...]
Broncos Links
Broncos: Robert Ayers has his best game of the year. Have questions for Justin Bannan? Ask them here. Did the Titans play “cheap“? Champ Bailey and the Broncos are talking about the future. John Elway is not in favor of an 18-game schedule. Part of the Broncos offense is in Ohio. He said it. I didn’t. Kyle Orton and Brandon Lloyd are the league’s new dynamic duo. AFC West: Let’s see what this Chiefs defense can really do against the best in the game. Oakland is not panicking despite a 1-3 start. Chargers rookie running back, Ryan Matthews, scored the first [...]
John Elway Talks About Mondays In The NFL
As Broncos players pour cereal into their bowls tomorrow morning, most of them will probably hear a “snap, crackle, and pop” whether or not they’re eating Rice Krispies. The bodies of NFL players on the Monday morning after a Sunday afternoon game often feel okay. However, by Tuesday morning, their bodies sound like they need some WD-40 to get the muscles and joints working again. After being sacked 6 times, throwing 50 passes, and leading the team in passing and rushing yards, Kyle Orton certainly can’t be feeling like a million bucks this morning. Broncos Get Colossal Win Over Titans
It was a Titan-sized 26-20 win for the Denver Broncos. As the Broncos returned to .500, Kyle Orton continued to carry the offense on his grass-stained shoulders. The Broncos all-time leader in passing yards through the first four games of the season racked up 341 yards on 35-50 attempts with 2 TDs and 1 INT against the Titans. Those numbers are more similar to that of Peyton Manning or Tom Brady than of the Orton we knew last year. In the past two games, Orton has combined for 817 yards. Perhaps Chad Ochocinco should give the moniker ”Ocho” to Orton. This was not a walk-in-the-park type [...]
John Elway Talks Denver Quarterbacks
It’s not a bad day when John Elway blows up your phone to chat. I had the opportunity to speak with Elway on Friday. The reason being is he’s promoting the Zero Calorie Pepsi Max Ultimate Fan Contest. The grand prize winner of the contest wins a trip to London to watch the Denver Broncos take on the San Francisco 49ers at the NFL International Football Game on October 31st. From now until October 10th, you can submit a photo here, showing why you are the Ultimate NFL fan. The photo must include a bottle or can of Pepsi Max. The winner will get to [...]
Broncos VS. Titans Preview
The Denver Broncos travel to the south where southern hospitality does not include welcoming opposing football teams with open arms. As Music City sings its fine country tunes from Music Row, the Broncos will try to go for the kill next to the Cumberland. The Tennessee Titans (2-1) are in a mad dash for first place in the very tough AFC South. The division has a 3-way tie for first place with the Colts and Texans also at 2-1. The bottom line is the Titans need a win this week since divisional rivals, Indianapolis and Jacksonville, already beat the Broncos this season. This is certainly a Titan of a game for [...]
