Broncos Links

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, Off-Topic/Other | COMMENTS: None Yet

To cap off 2009, here’s a link dump: Broncos: The team is hurting at receiver, but Marshall will play on Sunday. Dr. Doom is giving Ryan Clady props. Here’s your chance to ask Brandon Stokley a question. Darrell Reid is one happy Bronco. This could be Mitch Berger’s last chance to punt. It’s the young guns that need to emerge more. AFC West: Just Blog Baby captures a decade of Raider football. Todd Haley as an offensive mastermind? I hope not on Sunday. Five Chargers made the Pro Bowl roster. Random: Aren’t Tony Parker and Eva Longoria the perfect couple. Vomit. [...]

CLIP OF THE WEEK!

AUTHOR: | IN: Clip of the Week! | COMMENTS: None Yet

With a big game looming for the Broncos against the Eagles many experts predict another loss for Denver. It is no surprise since this team has been underestimated all season long. One constant has been that Denver has played better when they are in the underdog role. On any given Sunday? You bet, and it only takes one break in a game for miracles to happen. In fact, the Broncos have had their share of memorable games highlighted in our Clip of the Week!

Fans Falling For Brian Dawkins

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

“Pitter patter goes my heart when I see Brian Dawkins emerge from the tunnel at Invesco field. You see, the love affair between B-Dawk and Broncos fans began less than a year ago. There wasn’t a big ceremony or a meaningful proposal. In fact, there was no ring – just hopes that he would help lead us to one.” Read the rest of my post on The Daily Philadelphian. Happy Holidays!

Broncos Visit Eagles

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

This is a one game season for the Broncos. At this point, they need to win on Sunday to even make the final regular season game against the Chiefs meaningful. Visiting Philadelphia isn’t a walk in the park. The Broncos go into a city where even Santa gets snowballs thrown at him. Expect a loud environment, hard hits, and some after the whistle jabs in what is sure to be a fierce duel between two of this year’s NFL giants.   The Eagles are no joke this year, and with Brian Westbrook returning to the backfield, the Eagles look to be even [...]

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, NFL | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Frank Ward over at The Daily Philadelphian is our guest contributor this week. With Brian Dawkins returning to Philly for the first time since leaving after his 13 year career with the Eagles, fans will surely rise to their feet and cheer him on. Frank talks about the pain fans will feel on Sunday when they see him wearing another team’s colors.   Dawkins return painful for Eagles fans By FRANK WARD Eagles fans can’t watch Broncos games this year without being a little upset. It’s nothing personal. Our hearts are crushed every time we see No. 20 make a tackle for you. He [...]

Broncos Links

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

Yesterday’s loss is still getting to me, so I’m going to go with links today. Broncos: I really thought I wanted JaMarcus Russell leading the Raiders down the field. Some people think the Broncos don’t deserve a playoff spot. I’m not the only one scratching my head at McD’s choice to relentlessly hand the ball off to Moreno. Red zone = death zone for the Broncos. Up next: the Eagles. Even though Jeff Garcia is no longer on the roster, this video is pretty good. Ask Andre Goodman a question this week. Brandon Marshall was all class with his tribute to [...]

Raiders Take Out Broncos In Denver

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, Gameday | COMMENTS: None Yet

Santa Claus won’t be stopping in Oakland on December 25th. Tell all your kids, Oakland residents. That’s because he already delivered an early Christmas gift to you tonight. Raiders 20 Broncos 19. It doesn’t get more depressing than that for Broncos fans. Yet again, another season comes to us where our team starts strong and then discombobulates at the end. A 6-0 start faded into 2-6 since the bye week. The good news is we’re still sitting pretty in Wild Card contention, the bad news is we really need to win out to secure a playoff spot. Realistically, the Broncos didn’t deserve to win today. When the offense has to settle for field goals at [...]

CLIP OF THE WEEK!

AUTHOR: | IN: Clip of the Week! | COMMENTS: None Yet

What week is it? It’s Raiders week! Oh yes, another installment of watching a poorly run franchise living on past glory and outdated ego. The Raiders have played better as of late but they are definately one of the worst teams in the league. It is hard to admit, but I think fans of both teams miss the old days when it used to be the best rivalry in football. I remember when Denver vs. Oakland would draw interest from a national tv audience and never disappoint. In honor of what this game used to be I give you a [...]

Broncos VS. Raiders Preview

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

It’s round #2 for these teams. The first meeting, a Broncos 23-3 win, took place in week 3 - what seems like ages ago. At that point the Broncos were still undefeated and no one really had a handle on them. Were they a good defensive team or were other teams just not finding their offensive rhythm? 12 weeks later, we know that the Broncos are a solid defensive team and deserve a playoff spot. The Broncos forced 3 turnovers and sacked JaMarcus Russell twice. In fact they scored 13 points off turnovers. The good news is the Raiders haven’t improved much, and this much needed Broncos win will help them in the [...]
