CLIP OF THE WEEK!

AUTHOR: | IN: Clip of the Week! | COMMENTS: None Yet

Well, we beat Dallas now we should get the respect that we deserve right? In theory we should be mentioned as one of the best teams in the league since we have not lost yet this year and we beat the Cowboys. But wait, now the critics are saying that Dallas may not be a good team this year, even though they were predicted to dominate us from start to finish. Oops, looks like Dallas didn’t expect to run into a buzz saw known as the Broncos defense. So maybe we would be favored against New England this Sunday. It [...]

Broncos v. Patriots Preview

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

Roll out the red (and blue) carpet because Tom Brady and the Patriots (3-1) are coming to town. The storylines are endless with Yoda and Mc-Kid going head-to-head and the game itself  being of Mile High importance. The Broncos look to stay undefeated on the season and look for revenge against the below the belt blow they took on Monday Night Football last October. The Pats won 41-7 with Josh McDaniels’ Matt Cassel led offense making the Broncos look like a high school J.V. team. The Broncos are a brand new team however, with a brand new defensive alignment that ranks 1st in the league in points allowed. The offense is poised [...]

Brandon Marshall Goes On Michael Irvin Show

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Brandon Marshall went on the Michael Irvin Show to talk about the Broncos 4-0 start, his relationship with Josh McDaniels, and whether or not he pushed off on the game winning touchdown catch against the Cowboys. Marshall says this about his relationship with McD: “Well you know there are two sides to this thing.  That’s what sometimes the fans forget and other people outside of football forget that there are two sides to this thing.  It’s not just the fun in playing, there is also a business side.  In the business side, yes things didn’t go the way I wanted it [...]

Trading Places

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Through the first 4 weeks into the season I can’t help but think one thing about the Broncos; we are the new Chicago Bears and the Chicago Bears are the new Denver Broncos. What do I mean by this? Think about it…we are playing top notch hard hitting defense that is holding teams to 10 points or less. We have a run first, short passes second, offense with the goal of eating up the game clock and avoiding the big turnover. We put our faith in the defense and hold our breath when our quarterback drops back to pass on [...]

Why Being A Broncos Fan Is Better Than Being A Patriots Fan

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, Fanzone/Tailgating | COMMENTS: 5 Comments

Each Wednesday, I poke a little fun at the Broncos’ opponent and their fans. This week, we’ve got the folks from New England up on the stage of public humiliation. They can take it. For the past 8 years, that area of the country has been considered Pleasantville in the sports department. The Red Sox, the Celtics, and of course, the Patriots have won Championships. They need some humble pie. With that said, here are 10 reasons why being a Broncos fan is better than being a Patriots fan. 1. We don’t have to use the word “wicked” to describe a great play. 2.  When Tom Brady proposed to [...]

With Big Win, Broncos Get Sports Illustrated Cover

AUTHOR: | IN: Breaking News, Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Broncos are no longer flying under the radar. Thanks to one win, they’ve propelled themselves into the national spotlight. Now considered a top team in the league, they made the cover of Sports Illustrated this week. SI senior writer, Jim Trotter, covers the story. I’ve already read it and it’s a great piece. Make sure to pick up a copy! “Vonnie Holliday is one of the more vociferous players in football, but even he was stunned into silence early last month by an impromptu scouting report on his new team, the Broncos. A 12-year veteran defensive end, Holliday signed with Denver [...]

Broncos Links

I’m already amped up for the next game, and it’s only Tuesday. I’m sure many of you are feeling the same way, so here are some links worth checking out. Broncos Links In typical Josh McDaniels fashion, he states that the next game is just the 5th game of the year and nothing more. Dr. Doom answered fan questions last week. This week, you can ask Kyle Orton a question.   D.J. Williams’ performance helped squash the Cowboys. Knowshon Moreno is a candidate for Rookie of the Week. Go vote for him. Speaking of Moreno, he and Robert Ayers are proving to [...]

AFC West Breakdown: Week 4

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos, NFL | COMMENTS: None Yet

(Kim Constantinesco writes for Predominantly Orange, which is FSB’s Denver Broncos blog. Representing the rest of the AFC West are Arrowhead Addict, Bolt Beat and Just Blog Baby.) With a 1-3 record in the AFC West this week, everyone is looking forward to playing our division. The lone exception is Denver who remarkably stands 4-0 despite their turbulent offseason. Kansas City has been handing games over as early as the game opening kickoff, and at this point, Detroit looks more solid than they do. I hear Oakland is thinking about renting out space in the endzone to advertisers since the Raiders don’t use it that often. [...]

Image Of The Week

AUTHOR: | IN: Broncos | COMMENTS: None Yet

An incredible defense plus a clutch offense has brought the Broncos to a 4-0 start. Yesterday’s win against the Dallas Cowboys was in big part thanks to these two men. Champ Bailey and Brandon Marshall came up big down the stretch, and their private moment on the sideline makes out Image of the Week!
