Broncos Links
This is a big week in sports. The World Series and the NBA season begin, and it’s already week 8 in the NFL. As usual, I’ll start things off with Broncos links.
Broncos:
- It’s time to get physical, physical. So says, Josh McDaniels.
- Punter Brett Kern got kicked to the curb, but is replaced by Mitch Berger.
- Kyle Orton is someone to praise, but please don’t jinx him.
- Your chance to ask Tony Scheffler a question right here.
- Brandon Marshall is a star on and off the field. Catch him hosting Sports Soup.
- Now the Broncos schedule is a welcomed challenge.
- Jay Cutler and Kelly Clarkson have something in common.
- Bronco Talk gives us their weekly power rankings with the Broncos sitting nice and pretty.
- Bye week quotes from Josh McDaniels.
AFC West:
- Despite the Chiefs poor record, they’ve got a good group of core players.
- A gruesome display from the Raiders has fans asking “What now?”
- The Chargers defensive line has improved since the bye week. A new nose tackle helps.
Random:
- Flip, twist, bounce, crazy!
- Certain college mascots can’t be trusted.
- Blogs with Balls- A great conference Vegas style.
- Dwight Howard rides a roller coaster at a Disney theme park.
- You say “hot dog”, Mark Sanchez says “pass the mustard.”
- Personally, this makes me sick, but I know the Yankee haters out there will enjoy it.
- A team by team NBA analysis in honor of the 2009-2010 regular season start.
- Hard hits on the ice.
- Was Chris Cooley asking for a broken foot on Monday? My little ball of sunshine says “yes.”
- Speaking of the Monday night game, the “Cheesesteak of the Week” award gets split among 3 Eagles.
- The 40th anniversary of the NYC Marathon is on Sunday. It’s the greatest spectator sport in the world with 3 million people lining the streets to watch. I’m running in it, so I thought this video was appropriate.

I’m a Broncos fan who lives 40 miles from Baltimore. Just a few things being said here on local radio…
1. Denver’s defense doesn’t have any real talent. It’s all scheme and catching teams @the right time.
2. Orton is a below average quarterback and will be exposed Sunday.
3. Denver can’t handle a physical team.
4. Baltimore will be 6-3 in three weeks.
5. Question asked to Ray Rice.. “Do you think Denver is for real?” Silence…slight laugh by host which suggest an obvious facial expression by Ray Rice. “We’ll see how good they are Sunday”.
*I’ve been to every game Denver has played here (the wild card game too). I’m sick of riding back to the park-n-ride in the metro from the stadium having to listen to the white trash Ravens fans who are the least knowledgeable fans in all of football. They have no class, have an inferiority complex, think anytime they lose it’s the ref’s fault and are always going to the Super Bowl unless the NFL conspiracy against them is too much to overcome.
WIN!! Come in here and smack this team in the mouth. They don’t believe you can do it. Every player, reporter and fan thinks the Broncos are just a cute story.
October 27th, 2009 at 8:34 pmStay tuned for tomorrow’s post. The Ravens are 3-3 right now with two of their losses being against teams that we beat. It’s great to hear of such a loyal Broncos fan in Baltimore territory. Keep representing! Let their fans call the wahmbulance.
