Pre-Season Week 4

If you were thinking that rookie quarterback Tom Brandstater looked good again in the Broncos final pre-season game you were not alone. Although the Cardinals didn’t have their starters playing for most of the game it is still something to hang your hat on. Frankly, the team needed any sign of positive play and it really needed a win…pre-season or not. The team should get better the more it gets comfortable in the new offense and defense schemes. The defense shows the most promise right now with a blitzing physical style that reminds me of the days when defensive coordinator Greg Robinson called the plays…live or die by the blitz! Pre-season is now over and the excitement of football opening weekend is just a week away!
