Broncos Get Ready For Invesco Field

This morning the Broncos did a light walk through before their intrasquad scrimmage tonight at Invesco. Most players were without pads and helmets, while the 3rd stringers particiapated in more of an intense practice. The team spent the first 30 minutes going over different blocking schemes during kick-offs and punts. Then, the offense and defense lined up to run through the plays before both groups split up with their respective offensive and defensive coordinators.

Tonight’s scrimmage should tell us a lot with the guys going full speed. During a game like this, you may see someone dominate, but that only points out a certain weakness on the field. We will get a sense of McD’s coaching style, Orton’s arm strength, and the new 3-4 scheme. If you’re in the area, get out to Invesco. The scrimmage starts at 6:00 and it’s free to the public.

Damn wish I lived in Denver. This would be a lot of fun to go to. Oh well. Going to TC on the 17th will have to suffice.
