The Broncos are known for their draft day steals. The proverbial diamond in the rough is what ever team dreams about. Denver has been fortuante enough to experience this more then once. The player at the top of the list has to be Terrell Davis. NFL Network ranked Davis at #3 for Top Ten Draft Steals of All-Time…but he is #1 for our Clip of the Week!

CLIP OF THE WEEK!
To Good to Keep Silent
Earlier this week Mike Klis of the Denver Post wrote an article on recent Broncos draft pick CB Alphonso Smith. The article highlighted Smith as a college student during finals week at Wake Forest. What happened next could be compared to an Elway two-minute game winning drive. Michael Earls, classmate of Alphonso Smith recalls the amazing story…
“He was a very funny and nice guy throughout the semester, but I didn’t really appreciate how awesome he was until the day of our exam,” Earls said while sharing the story last month.
A week before the final, the class professor assigned 10 essay [...]
Great Sports Locations
With the Nuggets playing the Lakers, and the Rockies playing the Dodgers today, I’ll we need is a Broncos v. Raiders game to complete the Cali lineup. The state of Colorado is extremely excited about the Nuggets run to the finals. I don’t think the state has been this excited about a sports team since the Rockies went to the World Series in ’07. It’s about time for the Broncos to see the post season, or at least the winning side of the coin.
There’s no doubt that Denver is a great place to be if you’re a sports fan. We’ve got professional teams in [...]
Thanks to a Reebok photo shoot that Brandon Marshall participated in, I was able to have Marshall answer a few questions about the upcoming season.
1. How do you anticipate the Kyle Orton-Chris Simms battle in training camp playing out?
In all sports the best man wins – healthy competition is good – it’s what makes both Kyle and Chris better.
2 What have you been doing this off season to prepare for the ’09 season. Have you made any changes to your off season routine?
I had hip surgery April 1st, so now I am rehabbing and trying to get strength back in my hip, so a big [...]
CLIP OF THE WEEK!
Raiders vs. Broncos…one of the best rivalries of all-time. Though recent years have not been kind to this historic match-up, here’s to the good old days narrated by Samuel L. Jackson in our Clip of the Week!
Nuggets Site Up And Running
The Nuggets are the talk of the town right now, so what better way to show the city of Denver some love than to debut FanSided.com’s newest site, Nugg Love. Hop over there to get the latest coverage of the team that could beat the Lakers to the finals.
Being a fan can be tough sometimes. You have to deal with your team losing. You have to see athletes make millions of dollars more than you do despite barely getting through college. You have to pay $6 for a Bud Light (or $9 at the new Yankee stadium) while attending the game. At times, you even have to sit in frigid weather see your team falter.
Well, there’s one fan out there that takes her fan story to a whole new level. A woman attending the Mets-Braves game dropped her gold tooth in the toilet at Citi Field. When she reached into the toilet, she got [...]

Here are a few NFL/Broncos links that I thought might be of interest:
- John Madden isn’t the only NFL broadcaster that’s afraid to fly. Tony Kornheiser is reportedly leaving ESPN’s Monday Night Football both because of a fear of flying. His replacement: Jon Gruden.
- Michael Irvin is a busy man. Not only did he raise money for the Cowboys assistant that was paralyzed in the bubble collapse, but his new reality show starts tonight on Spike T.V.
- As this dead period drags on, here’s a look at the NFL calendar.
- Jack Elway, son of John, quit playing football for ASU. [...]
