Fact or Fiction?

As reported today by the Denver Post’s Mike Klis, Broncos head coach McDaniels has already met with wide-out Brandon Marshall Tuesday and plans to meet next week with quarterback Jay Cutler.

"“Josh and Jay will sit down and meet next week when Jay gets back from Nashville,” Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth said. And, much to the dismay of fan blogs in Cleveland, Detroit, Minnesota and Denver, Smyth added: “The Denver Broncos are not trading Jay Cutler. Period.”"

Broncos reciever Jabar Gaffney also added that the feud between McDaniels and Cutler portrayed in the media doesn’t make any sense.

"“I hope it works out,” new Broncos receiver Jabar Gaffney said. “Because when I met with Josh he only had good things to say about Cutler. I don’t know what’s going on. All I know, Josh does like him and thinks he’s a heck of a quarterback.”"

Next week could provide the turning point for this franchise that desperately needs to turn the page and begin a new era of Broncos football. The media created a storm that blurred the line between fact and fiction. Next week will show the absolute truth.
