Oakland Raiders: Please Handle With Care

I know we’re playing the Chiefs this week, but how can you not post something like this showing just how frail the Oakland Raiders are right now. Reporter Tim Kawakami from the San Jose Mercury News exchanges words with Raiders’ official John Herrera at the end of a Lane Kiffin press conference. The whole confrontation begins with a question that Kawakami asked:

"“Given that there are reports (that Kiffin earlier didn’t deny) that Raiders officials have told him he’s going to be fired, given that we all know a Raiders official distributed printed copies of an espn.com article critical of Kiffin, given that Kiffin came to today’s news conference without a single item of Raiders garb…… How isolated does Kiffin feel in this organization?”"

Apparently, it was John Herrara that handed out the said printed copies, but he denies it saying, “You built a whole column on a lie!”

Anyway the video makes it a lot more entertaining, so here it is:

Like the Chiefs organization, you almost have to feel bad for the Raiders right now. Nothing’s going to change until Al Davis leaves the organization, and let’s face it, there’s a better chance of Sarah Palin doing a strip tease in Times Square this week.
