Shanahan’s New Digs

Who needs a 34,927-square-foot home that includes a garage that is bigger than most homes?  Apparently, Broncos coach Mike Shanahan does. According to the DenverPost.com, Shanny will have his mansion completed in about a year in the Cherry Hills area of Denver.

The crib will include a video golf room, bowling alley, racquetball court, and a poker room. It sits on 3.5 acres and has six bedrooms, a kids arcade, a “wine residence,” and a guest house. So far it has forced the Shanahan’s to lay out $7.6 million to build the house. Shanahan is one of the league’s best paid coaches earning about $5 million per year.

End of the season party at Shanny’s house in 2010? I think so!
