Rod Smith is one of the remaining pieces of a dominate, confident, championship team and the championship mindset that went with it. The personel moves in the front office over the last several years, the poor job the team has done in free agency along with some off the field incidents haven't resembled a Bronco team that I have grown up with. I believe Rod still wants to compete for the job and if he can recover from those hip injuries, then I think he can not only produce but as a veteran and 2 time SuperBowl reciever, maybe he can also teach the young guys what kind of work ethic it takes to become one again.
