Brandon Marshall doesn’t have a problem celebrating his touchdown in the snow against Kansas City. When asked about it he said, “that was for my friends and relatives back in Florida. They don’t get to see snow” (Rocky Mountain News).
The Denver weather was a theme in today’s game. With nearly 8,000 empty seats at Invesco, players like Nate Webster and Brandon Marshall were constantly firing up the chilled crowd between plays. What they didn’t realize was that the Broncos flawless game fired us up enough. Jay Cutler’s 20 completions and Selvin Young’s long runs kept the stadium filled with fireworks, and the Chiefs on their heels.
With a devastating loss last week against the Raiders, the Broncos looked like they threw their playoff chances out the window. However, they can sill make it with more wins and San Diego losing the rest of their games. So, keep cheering these Broncos on as it looks like they have finally turned the corner this season.
