Rice is Gone; A Win is Needed for the Broncos

Simeon Rice is off the Broncos roster, and John Lynch (former teammate at Tampa Bay) feels partially responsible for urging him to come to Denver. According to Mike Shanahan, Rice did not work out from the start (Denver Broncos).

Taking Rice’s spot  on the roster is QB, Darrell Hackney. He will be the emergency quarterback on Sunday in Kansas City (Yahoo Sports).

Rod Smith does not foresee Wednesday golf outings or week long October cruises to Alaska in the near future. The long time Bronco will continue to play as long as he can (Yahoo Sports).

As for tomorrow, Jay Cutler is probable, and Travis Henry is questionable. We need both players in order to win.

Arrowhead may have the cheapest beer (Arrowhead Addict), but Denver sits at over 5,000 feet above sea level where it takes fewer beers to get fired up at the game.

This week is one of the biggest weeks for the Broncos because they are just one game behind Kansas City and San Diego. They are more than capable of winning the next 4 out of 5 games and jumping ahead of their AFC West opponents by a few games.

 Keep the faith Broncos fans!
