You’d think, based on the available news in Broncoland, that defensive tackle was the only position on the field. In the past few weeks we’ve talked about Sam Adams, Jimmy Kennedy, newly drafted Marcus Thomas, and a slew of holdover rotation guys that will man Denver’s DT spots. Now we receive word that another Bronco target, Dan Wilkinson, has had his contract terminated by the Dolphins.
The Broncos and Dolphins agreed to swap Wilkinson for a sixth-round pick in this year’s Draft on March 2, but Big Daddy never showed for his physical and the trade was voided. He had apparently skipped his conditioning work in Miami as well. Seems like a fat loser to me…for all the questions that come with Adams and Kennedy, I’ll take them over this couch potato.
